These are hard to find but I recorded two CDs a long time ago - there were only 1,000 CDs manufactured for each release and there is no official digital release for either one
AC was released in 1999, seven originals and two covers, recorded to 2" tape at New Alliance Studio in the old rehearsal studio building on Boylston St where I got my professional career started - I actually got to hand this CD directly to Ahmet Ertegun at a music conference in Boston. A few months later, I was spending the afternoon with my two young sons in the backyard kiddie pool when I got a phone call - the caller ID said Atlantic Records. A very nice woman was on the line and told me they listened to my CD and decided not to add me to their development roster - looking back I wish I could have blurted out "can I get that in writing??"
Jaywalking was released in 2001 as a tribute to King Curtis and Junior Walker - the band was recorded live as if it were a regular night club gig, but we could actually hear each other and the food and drinks were way better! - all basic tracks were first takes recorded in roughly two total hours of playing/listening time, and we kept some of the solos from those tracks, too! - there are two original songs on this CD, one of them inspired by a groove I wrote the day Junior Walker passed away - my band did a big show in his honor at the original House of Blues in Cambridge, MA
My band SAXATTACK performed from 1994-2006 in the Boston area and I had another band in Sweden called Inside Straight that I performed with as a front man with from 2005-2016
